What is Maybe Baby?

Maybe Baby is a free Seattle support group for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer people who are interested in becoming parents. All are welcome - singles, couples, new-comers, old-timers.  We get together once a month to share stories and information about pregnancy planning, adoption, fostering and (maybe) babies.

October 8, 2009: Planning Meeting

What presentations and activities do you want at Maybe Baby over the coming year?  Do you have other ideas for what you’d like to see happening?  Social activities?  Breakout groups?  Other events?  More presentations?  Fewer presentations?  Come give feedback and have your voice heard as we choose Maybe Baby’s path for the coming year.  **Also, it’s always wonderful if people want to help out with planning.  However, coming to this meeting will *not* mean committing yourself to helping plan activities.  The goal of the meeting is to ensure that we are planning activities that meet the needs and interests of the group.**

**Also in the works: a presentation about child safety issues: what’s hype & what we should worry about; and a presentation on advocating for our future children in schools.**

Maybe Baby has endorsed the Approve 71 Campaign.  Remember to vote yes to approve referendum 71 to keep the expanded domestic partnership rights in Washington State.  The campaign is looking for volunteers and financial support as well.
