How do I borrow a book?

Borrowing a book is easy – just email our librarian with the name of the book.  If it’s available, you can pick it up at the next Maybe Baby meeting.  If it’s not, you’ll be placed on a waiting list and the librarian will let you know when it’s available.   Please email our librarian at least one week before the next Maybe Baby meeting to request a book.

Where do I pick up and return the books?

After you’ve emailed the librarian to request a book and she’s told you it’s available, you can pick it up at the next Maybe Baby meeting.  Please return the book at the following Maybe Baby meeting.

How long can I keep a book I’ve borrowed?

You can keep each book for one month.  Please return it at the next Maybe Baby meeting. 

What if I want to keep the book more than one month?

Please email the librarian.  If no one else is waiting on the book, you can keep it for a second month.

What happens if I don’t return my library book when it’s due?

If you forget your library book, we will forgive you if you bring a bag of candy to share with the group.  Please bring your book to the next meeting, though, or make other arrangements to drop it off.

I want to donate to the library.  How do I do that?

That’s great, we’d love to have your donated books!  You can bring your donation to a Maybe Baby meeting or email our librarian to make other arrangements.  Thank you!
